[Macpartners] IS&T Recommends Users Wait to Install VMware Fusion 5 for the Mac

Good afternoon,

Earlier today, VMware released Fusion 5 for the Mac.  The new features of Fusion 5 can be viewed on VMware's website: http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/features.html.

IS&T recommends that Mac users wait to upgrade and continue to use their current version of VMware Fusion until IS&T completes its testing and review of VMware Fusion 5.  Once IS&T announces support for VMware Fusion 5, it will be made available to the MIT community free of charge via the software grid<http://ist.mit.edu/software-hardware>.
