[Macpartners] Attachment annoyances

Hi Marion,
I'm assuming two things:
1) You are using Apple Mail on both Macs;
2) Your MIT mailbox is on the MIT Exchange server
Are those correct? I have seen the same issue - in fact, it drove me batty enough to start using Outlook 2011 for Mac. The attachments are actually there - it's just that Apple Mail, for some reason, does not always display them. You can confirm that they are there by logging into the OWA (Outlook Web Access) interface and look at those messages... you will see them there.
I'm pretty sure that if this matches your situation, there is a bug in Apple mail. I'm curious if anyone else has had the same problem. I can't figure out if it's a version of Mail that causes the issue or some other cascade of circumstances... BTW switching to outlook lasted for about a week; then it pretty much crashed every ten minutes and I quit using it. If I need to fetch sneaky attachments I just get them from OWA.
