Just a preview.
"Lion Server is now part of Mac OS X Lion. It’s easy to set up your Mac as a server and take advantage of the many services Lion Server has to offer."
Looks like the scary thing here, is that the Server OS and Client OS may ship on One DVD. So does this mean everyone will get a copy of server on their mac, full functionality built into the client? Or can it not be installed originally, Stay tuned I guess.
Hopefully it does not get installed originally and just turn on server features as needed. All we need are people popping up DNS and DHCP servers at will on our networks.
We knew something was in the works with the X-serve discontinuance. Maybe time we take Lion, take out the "o" and add "ux" onto the end as our non-windows server solution going forward.
Just my $0.02
