[Macpartners] Office for Mac 2011 ­ Coming Soon

After many months of development, Microsoft has set October 26, 2010 as the release date for Office for Mac 2011. This version will be covered by MIT's Microsoft Campus Agreement<http://ist.mit.edu/services/software/msca/overview> (no direct cost to departments for faculty and staff use, and for student use on MIT-owned machines).

Until IS&T announces full support for Office for Mac 2011, we continue to recommend that users remain on their current versions of Office. For early adopters, we expect to make the installer available for download on October 26, 2010.
