[Macpartners] Mac managers group

I'm thinking about setting up a Mac-centered working group for people on campus who need to integrate Macs into the MIT infrastructure. Yes, I know there's MacPartners, but that group has its own purpose, and doesn't tend to focus on large-scale Mac integration. In addition, I don't really want this new group to become something for general Mac questions, but more for those who need to administer a number of Macs and want to share best practices.

Topics could include:
* imaging machines
* encryption (yes, there's PGP, but there are other ways, e.g. FileVault)
* software updates for client machines (Apple Remote Desktop, Munki)
* Mac servers: what to use them for, how to integrate
* Local policies around password changes, screen saver locks, etc.
* Best practices for distributing new software packages (e.g. Adobe CS)

I see this as a working group, perhaps meeting monthly with a focused topic.
