Hey Aran - I'm not sure how supported this is, but I was just able to access my DFS space from my 10.6.2 machine. If you're willing to do a little bit of work, this might get you what you want.

The first thing is find out the actual path to the server that hosts your folder. I was able to find this by logging into a win.mit.edu machine, right clicking on the folder in question, selecting properties -> DFS and noting the path. I had to expand the path column to see all of it. For my DFS home folder, the path was \\profiler9.mit.edu\users1$\m. With that, you can construct the full path to the folder in question. For example, if I was trying to mount the root of my DFS home directory, the path would be \\profiler9.mit.edu\users1$\m\mcneal.

To mount that on your Mac, goto the Finder and select Go -> Connect to Server. Enter the path from above in the server field, preceded by "smb://" and replacing all '\' with '/', and press "Connect." In my example from above, I entered smb://profiler9.mit.edu/users1$/m/mcneal to mount the root of my DFS home directory.

When you're prompted for a password, enter your kerberos username in the "Name" field, your win.mit.edu password and press connect. If you don't know your win.mit.edu password, you can reset it here:

https://wince.mit.edu/changepasswd/index.jsp

Once connected, you should see your DFS drive mounted in the finder.

I have no idea if the server that hosts DFS folders changes over time, but this method should at least get you temporary access.

Hope that helps.
