This leads me to ask:

A) How does one get access to this service?

and

B) What Mac oriented tools are available such as this?

The problem I am trying to address is the old one of making files 
available to my Mac (and a few non-Mac) colleagues here.

I'm just wondering what services exist and where I can learn more about 
them.
