[Macpartners] Fwd: [OpenAFS-announce] Support for MacOS 10.6 Snowleopard now available

For those that use AFS on your client machines and are thinking about  
moving to 10.6, you'll be glad to know that the OpenAFS developers  
have announced a new client build that supports Snow Leopard:

> In conjunction with the release today of MacOS 10.6 Snowleopard,
> OpenAFS 1.5.62 has been released with support for 32 and 64 bit
> Snowleopard, both kernel and userspace.
> Additionally binary package and source patch are available for OpenAFS
> 1.4.11 for MacOS 10.6.

> Additional information is available at http://www.openafs.org/, and
> the latest information regarding OpenAFS on MacOS can always be found
> at http://www.openafs.org/macos.html

Initial testing has shown this to work with the standard configuration  
settings.
