[Macpartners] check boxes

i am using a report template in word 2004 that has check boxes on it.  i 
am using an ibook with mac os 10.4.11, and need to email my report to a 
colleague using word 2008, but also os 10.4.11.  the boxes won't take 
checks on her word 2008.  is there an applescript or something we can 
write to make the checks work on her document?
