[Macpartners] iMac Graphic Artifacts with Leopard 10.5.5

So this is just a poll to see if others are experiencing my same issue.
I've had two instances of iMacs, the newer Aluminum 2.x Ghz ones, that
have slight problems with graphics following updates to 10.5.
Issues are lines across the screen, all vertical of varying colors,
like a straight rainbow. When moving over them with the mouse they
will eventually disappear, but sometimes the machine will lock-up.
A simple reboot usually resolves the issue, and sometimes the issue
never comes back. However, I'd feel safer knowing I have determined
the issue and fix, rather than just disregarding it as a fluke.
I've found posts about faulty ATI Radeon chipsets, that are supposedly
fixed with the graphics firmware updates 1.1, and 1.2; and other
people reverting to an earlier graphics driver manually to resolve the
issue, but none seem to be a 100% fix.
Any other sightings or success/failure stories out there with these
iMacs?
