MIT's Information Services and Technology has an immediate opening for a
self-motivated Senior IT Manager for its Departmental IT Resource (DITR)
team (http://web.mit.edu/ist/teams/ditr/ ). 

 

DITR is a large (17 FTE) multidisciplinary team whose role is to assist the
MIT community in the application of computer technology to their work and
research. Equipped with a broad knowledge of IT services and MIT's strategic
plans for computing and networking, DITR consultants provide a wide range of
services. DITR consultants help MIT departments define their computing
needs, and assist in the implementation and continued maintenance of
computing resources to meet those needs; this includes integrating new
technologies into departmental workflow, helping the MIT Community gain
access to institutional data by providing a conduit to the appropriate
resource, advising local experts on hardware and software products, and many
other computing services and solutions.
