[Macpartners] Parallels, XP and bridged network

Hi, I am confused about setting up a virtual machine on my MacBook
Pro. I want the virtual XP client to appear as a full-fledged machine
in our domain. This means that I need to set it up with Bridged
Ethernet.
The confusion is that I have two networking ports: built-in ethernet
and Airport with their MAC addresses. Paralels seems to create two
more ports: Host-Guest and NAT with their MAC addresses, then there
appears a Bridged MAC address. I am lost. How do these network ports
all talk? Do I have too many?

Should I use my two real network ports (built-in ethernet and
Airport) for my two computers: one for the Mac and the other for the
virtual XP? That would seem simpler, and I could understand this.

Thanks for any help
