I have 1.5 GB of RAM... it didn't work well at all with .5 GB, what  
the machine came with, but it works fine with 1.5. I've been using it  
since it first came out. Probably would be better with 2 GB. My big  
hurdle is disk space; I'm always running out!  Make sure you have at  
least 20+ GB to spare before installing.
