Hello,
Mac office, OS X.4.10. Adobe 7 or 8.
Now that we have web interface pdfs opening in adobe instead of the
web browser window the users have another request. We chose adobe
instead of preview because adobe allows us to open to the full screen
width automatically.
The workstation setup is for two screens (extended desktop). The
users would like to view the pdfs by default on the left screen. It
would be fine if we moved the first pdf opened for the day to the
left screen and then subsequent pdf's would understand to open on the
left screen. It does not work that way now and I do not know if it is
possible. Does anyone know? The right hand screen would be used to
continue to look up other pdfs or to further investigate / enter info
into the record.
The users will be viewing thousands of pdfs within a short time. It
would help so much to eliminate manipulation of every single pdf.
Thank you,
karen
