Apple recently announced Xsan 1.4, the first Universal version of  
Xsan. The retail version of Xsan 1.4 will be available on August 24  
via the Apple Store (online and retail) and Apple Authorized  
Resellers. Users of  Xsan version 1.1 or later may download the Xsan  
1.4 Update beginning August 16 via Software Update and the Xsan  
Support webpage at:

Xsan 1.4 delivers overall improved reliability for Xsan along with  
support for Access Control Lists (ACLs) and is recommended for all  
Xsan installations using Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server v.10.4.7 or
