[Macpartners] Cisco VPN client

All,

Cisco did release the VPN client that works on single processor Mac
OS X machines. The install software is actually not reachable via
versiontracker but here is the link: <http://www.versiontracker.com/
dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12696>

Due to Cisco policy and U.S. export law, they do not make the client
software publicly available. Access to the download page requires a
support contract with Cisco, which includes a SmartNET login
account. End users will likely not have access to the SmartNET
account information. It will vary from organization to organization,
but most accounts are held in IT.

Also, if you plan to use this client, make sure that you in fact are
on a single processor machine as Cisco is still working on a dual
processor version and does not guarantee the functionality of this
client on dual-processor machines.
(in fact, there are reports of kernel-panics on dual processor
machines with this client).

Mateja.
