never got a case number, yesterday I chatted with someone at the Desk 
about the problem and Apple's suggested solution, he concurred with 
Apple but didn't give me a number

I also heard about LPR printing and spoke with someone about that and 
got case number 424043 - in my setup, an AirPort base station (with 
which the 3 laptops are communicating) and a non-network-able printer 
(HP Laserjet 5M) are both connected to a D-link switch (which then 
goes to a DSL line) - AppleTalk can let any of the computers talk to 
the printer but since the workaround is a big nuisance, would it be 
possible to set up printing via LPR (and if so, how)?
