On September 22, an announcement was sent that contained a proposed list of 
applications targeted for desupport during FY2004.  The list below reflects 
changes based on feedback that was received.

Volume Site License Distribution
--------------------------------------------------------
IS is accepting online requests for Windows XP Professional from students 
who are currently running Windows 95, 98, NT 4, or ME.  To request a 
license for Windows XP Professional follow the Windows link 
from  http://web.mit.edu/is/products/vsls/.

As of December 18, 2003,  the maximum number of licenses for Mac OS X 10.3 
have been distributed. Please check back in January 2004 for an update.  We 
continue to ramp up support for Mac OS X 10.3 and recommend that clients 
that rely on support not upgrade to 10.3 at this time, especially if they 
use Eudora 5.2.3.

Licenses for Matlab will expire at the end of January.  To purchase 
licenses for next year, visit

required].
