I need the OS 9 install disk that may or may not have shipped with your system (I have not kept my disk). If any of you have this disk, please let me know and I would be eternally grateful if I could use it to install OS 9. Many thanks, Patrick Patrick B. My external hard drive power supply has been fried. (I used it in the Middle East where the voltage is 2X, and it now does not turn on) Where can I go to transfer my data from my (fried) external hard drive to another external hard drive? I rather do this somewhere local, so I don't have to mail my drive. And I think I should get a new drive which does not use its own power supply, i.e. one that is analogous to a USB drive. Any suggestions for a new HD? Any thoughts would be huge! thanks, Kirk Kirk Hourdajian MIT Sloan School of Management Class of 2007 917.353.8650 hourdaj at mit.edu -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... How big is the casing (trying to figure out the drive size)? I have an external case where we could swap out the drives and try to recover your data. -Nick On Sep 26, 2006, at 3:46 PM, Kirk Hourdajian wrote: > Hey mac users, > > I know that this is not a Mac specific question, but since this > group is obviously superior when it comes to computing, this is the > right place to ask! > > > My external hard drive power supply has been fried.
