[Macinsloan] How to setup printers

Here is how to set up the 5 relevant Sloan printers. You may have to  
be on the same subnet with each printer to set it up and test it --  
the best thing is to just sit next to each printer as you set it up.

Let me know if you need further clarification.

Printer in the Trading Room:
Open Printer Setup Utility
Click Add Printer Icon
Make sure "IP Printer" icon is highlighted at top
Select Internet Printing Protocol - IPP
Set address to: 18.170.0.147
Set name to: something memorable
Print using: HP Laserjet 8150 Series

Printer in the Student Computer Lounge
Open Printer Setup Utility
Click Add Printer Icon
Make sure "IP Printer" icon is highlighted at top
Select Line Printer Daemon - LPD
Set address to: 18.170.0.151
Set name to: something memorable
Print using:  HP Laserjet 8100 Series


Printer in the Student Study Space
Open Printer Setup Utility
Click Add Printer Icon
Make sure "Default Browser" icon is highlighted at top
Select appropriate printer ... I cannot remember its name, but it is  
identified as an HP Laserjet 4300
NOTE: You will need to be located on the same subnet as the printer.  
The best thing is to go sit right next to it. That way, you can test  
it out too.

Printer A in the Tang Lab

Open Printer Setup Utility
Click Add Printer Icon
Make sure "IP Printer" icon is highlighted at top
Select Internet Printing Protocol - IPP
Set address to: 18.186.0.133

Set name to: something memorable
Print using: HP Laserjet 8150 Series


Printer B in the Tang Lab

Printer was disabled at the time due to a physical malfunction so I  
couldn't set it up.
