It's an HP LaserJet 8100N. This printer is located in the group study room in the basement of E-52 (near our student lockers and the Sloan Trading Room). I think the network name is "021" but I can't figure out what the IP address is i haven't been able to connect to it. When I'm in Mac OS X "Printer Setup Utility", should I use IPP, HPJet Direct, or LPD? Thanks! In the que, it simply stops by job and doesn?t restart it. When I try to restart it, it stops again. Any thoughts / ideas? I suspect the IP address has changed ... anyway, this info should help get you started. You may be able to get the printer name using Bonjour and then find its IP address by pinging it. I can't remember how I got its IP address initially, but that would be a logical approach. Printer in the Student Computer Lounge Open Printer Setup Utility Click Add Printer Icon Make sure "IP Printer" icon is highlighted at top Select Line Printer Daemon - LPD Set address to: 18.170.0.151 Set name to: something memorable Print using: HP Laserjet 8100 Series Please email out the results if you figure it out.
