The Division of Marketing & Supply Chain Management at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma is seeking qualified applicants for their Supply Chain PhD program (http://www.ou.edu/price/marketing_supplychainmanagement/mkt_supplychain_PhD). Interested applicants must be full time students interested in pursuing an academic career at a research university. Applicants should have a master's degree in business or related fields. Applicants with an undergraduate degree will be considered but will be required to complete additional coursework. Assistantships are offered on a competitive basis and include a stipend and tuition waiver.
The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management is a vibrant community of scholars and teachers with a wide range of interests across the disciplines supply chain management and marketing. The division currently has seven tenure track faculty whose specializations include from strategic marketing, new product development, procurement, B2B, and quantitative methods. We are also recruiting for three tenure track positions currently which will increase the diversity of our course offerings and research interests. One of the key features of the division is that we welcome applicants with research interests in all areas (empirical/quantitative) of supply chain. In addition, given that the division consists of both supply chain and marketing faculty, it offers the ability to investigate research issues that lie at the intersection of supply chain and marketing such as B2B. The division also plays a key role in the Center for the Business of Healthcare which offers an opportunity of applicants interested in Healthcare Supply Chain. Price College is also starting a strategic initiative in Aerospace and Defense and applicants interested in this area will find considerable support for their research. Finally, our Energy Management program is very highly rated and applicants with an interest in this area are welcome as well.
Alumni from our PhD program currently occupy leading positions in some of the top ranked Supply Chain programs around the country including University of Tennessee, Auburn University, and Iowa State University.
The Price College of Business is AACSB-accredited with approximately 4,700 undergraduate, 500 master's, and 35 doctoral students. Its undergraduate program is ranked 50th by U.S. News and World Report, and its professional and full-time MBA programs are ranked 52nd and 58th.
