The Department of Management, Marketing, and Logistics seeks an Assistant Professor to teach classes in business analytics and logistics and to conduct research leading to publications in peer-reviewed outlets. The faculty member will be expected to provide service to the department, college, university, profession, and community, and to engage in professional development activities. The successful candidate should have an earned doctoral degree in logistics, operations management, business analytics, or related field (ABDs will be considered) and should demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching. The ability to teach logistics is highly desirable. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to conduct research leading to publications in refereed journals. The candidate must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements stated in C.S. 3.7.1 (www.sacscoc.org<http://www.sacscoc.org> faculty credentials). The J. Whitney Bunting College of Business is especially interested in those who can work collegially and effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and whose experience, research, teaching, and service contribute to the diversity and excellence of Georgia College. We desire faculty who demonstrate an understanding of our liberal arts mission and who are enthusiastic about working with high-achieving students. This is a ten-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position.
