[Logprofs] Open Search for Director of MIT Global SCALE Network Center in China

Hello Logprofs!

We are actively searching for a Director for the China Center within our Global SCALE Network.  The SCALE (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) Network currently consists of six supply chain centers of excellence located in North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and China.  All teaching and research across the SCALE Network is conducted in English.  The China SCALE Center is located in the great port city of Ningbo and is officially called the Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute China or NSCIIC.  It is a non-profit independent education and research institution focused on supply chain management.

The Director is responsible for designing, directing, and managing all aspects of the NSCIIC’s activities in education, research, and corporate outreach and will report to the Board of Directors.  While the ability to speak Chinese is preferred, it is not mandatory.  The full description of the position is attached. 1.                   A letter of interest discussing interest and relevant experience,

2.                   Curriculum vitae emphasizing research and teaching capability along with industry experience,

Review of applicants has begun and will continue until the position is filled.  The position commands a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications.  Starting dates are negotiable.
