Supply Chain Management—Undergraduate and Graduate – Fixed Term

Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, Department of Supply Chain Management, has an opening for a fixed-term instructor or assistant professor for the 2019-2020 academic year. Duties for the position include teaching and service responsibilities. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on experience and rank.

The position requires a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university for instructor rank; assistant professor rank will require a PhD. Rank will be commensurate with education and experience. Candidates must have a strong interest and background in supply chain management. The successful candidate will be expected to teach more advanced supply chain management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to interface with the supply chain management community. An ideal candidate will have prior experience in teaching survey or focused topical courses in operations, purchasing, and/or logistics and demonstrated ability to work with executives. Interest in supply chain technology, supply chain strategy, and supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
