The Department of Management at Marquette University invites applications for the tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Supply Chain Management starting August 2019.



Applicants should hold a Ph.D., or be close to completing one, in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline. They should have strong methodological training, outstanding research achievements or potential for publication in top journals, and excellent teaching and communication skills.



The new faculty member is expected to be actively involved in research, closely interface with industry, teach undergraduate, and graduate level courses, and supervise undergraduates and graduate students in Supply Chain Management. Candidates with academic experience and strong publication records in areas such as Logistics, Distribution and Order fulfillment, Digital Supply Chains, Technology in Supply Chains, Sourcing, Procurement, and Blockchain, using empirical approaches are particularly desirable.’



The Supply Chain program at Marquette is enhanced and supported by the Center for Supply Chain Management which prepares students through real-world experience and applied learning. The Management department offers four undergraduate majors and three master’s degrees including an undergraduate major in OSCM and an online graduate degree in MS in Supply Chain Management with an emphasis on Digital Supply Chains.
