The Department of Marketing, Transportation and Supply Chain Management at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate professor of supply chain management.

This position supports our efforts toward NCA&TSU Preeminence 2020 goals. The faculty member to be hired will assist the department efforts toward enhancing excellence of a learning-centered environment with dynamic intellectual exchange and a strong experiential component to our Supply Chain Management curriculum.

The individual filling this position will also be expected to enhance engagement of Marketing and Supply Chain Management students with the professional supply chain management community, including community college students and programs.

This is a tenure-track faculty position.

This position requires an earned doctorate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a closely related field from an AACSB International accredited business program by the anticipated date of appointment and professional accomplishments appropriate for the level of appointment.

The preferred candidates will have expertise in purchasing/procurement, supply chain management, academic and/or professional experience, and qualifications appropriate for an appointment to the faculty at the applicable level. Candidates most likely to be successful will also have a proven record of academic research and an active record of professional engagement.

The Department of Marketing, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management (MTSC) is one of the five academic departments in the College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University (NCA&TSU). Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, NCA&TSU is a public, doctoral/research, 1890 land-grant university committed to exemplary teaching and learning, scholarly and creative research, and effective disciplinary and community engagement and public service.

The Marketing, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management Department currently offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and a graduate Master of Business Administration degree with a Supply Chain Management concentration.

The mission of the department is educational relevance to ensure performance readiness. We embed relevant learning experiences, while infusing appropriate technology signaling to external constituents that our students are ready to perform, with excellence.
