Dear all,
I hope this finds you well and you are all set for the festive days ahead.
It is my pleasure to send you the Call for Papers for the upcoming
Colloquium on European Research in Retailing (CERR 2016) to be held from the
2nd to the 4th of June 2016 in Toulouse, France. The purpose of the
colloquium is to bring together researchers on retail issues in Europe so as
to share results and insights both managerial and scientific.
My co-organisers, Xavier Brusset, Herbert Kotzab, and myself would
appreciate if you could share this call within your networks. The submission
deadline is February 17th, 2016. You will find further information on the
Colloquium's website: http://cerr.sciencesconf.org/

The special theme of our colloquium is ³The Store and the Internet of
Things: Retail operations, marketing and beyond². Overall, we welcome
submissions on the following topics:

Relationship Management· Retail buying· Technology in the
retail environment· Retail location· Distribution
management· Human resource management in retail· Store
format development· Retail patronage· Shopper behaviour·

management· Retail service management· Retail agglomeration
marketing· Retail information systems management
Selected papers presented at the CERR will be considered for publication in
an associated special issue in the International Journal of Retail &
Distribution Management. Lastly, I want to mention that we will organise a
Special Doctoral Paper Session which might be of interest for PhD students
who work on a retail related topics.
