I would greatly appreciate your assistance by informing members of the
open faculty position at Maine Maritime Academy. 

 Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in International Logistics & Supply
Chain Management 
Full-time permanent position anticipated beginning January, 2015. Primary
focus on teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses related to
International Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Special teaching
emphasis in general business operations, Business Logistics, Freight
Transportation, International Logistics, Import/Export Operations,
Production Management, Transport Terminals/Warehouse Operations, Port
Terminal Operations, Logistics/Inventory Management, Purchasing/Sourcing,
& Material Handling (packaging/equipment). Candidates may also have
experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: Organizational
Behavior, Organization Development, Marketing, International Business,
International Human Resource Management, and/or Strategic Business
Management. Appropriate research and service are required which may
include Academy Committees, Department Committees, Student Advising,
Faculty Advisor for Student Club Activity and Professional/Industry
Affiliation. Willingness and Flexibility to potentially teach courses
during summer semester is also desirable. A minimum of three years
professional experience in any one combination of following areas is
required: logistics operations, fleet/freight transportation management,
inventory management, production/operations management,
procurement/sourcing, material handling, project management, international
business operations or port operations, required. 
An MBA or MS from an accredited institution in a business related field(s)
is required, preference given to logistics/supply chain related
concentrations. A doctorate and a minimum of 2 years teaching in higher
education are preferred. Preference will be given to candidate(s) with
experience developing and/or delivering online courses. 

 Maine Maritime Academy is a co-educational, public college on the coast
of Maine offering 18 degree programs in engineering, management, science,
and transportation. Founded in 1941 as an exclusively regimental program,
the college has diversified and grown significantly over the years, and
now serves approximately 950 undergraduate and graduate students in
career-oriented programs of study that are both regimented and
