Dear Sirs,

Garland Chow who is the Associate Professor of the Supply Chain Management
Sauder School of Business, the University of British Columbia has suggested
I contact you.

IFPSM is a membership association which is made up of purchasing and supply
chain associations from around the world.  Each year we hold an IFPSM
Summer School and this year it is taking place on 30 June - 5 July at the
University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands. I attach details of the IFPSM
Summer School and I would be grateful if you could circulate and promote
this to your various academic partners, on your website and in newsletters
and electronic magazines.



The costs of the event are small for a 5 day event but unfortunately a
challenge to students. I would be grateful if you could both play a part in
identifying the right applicants and making attendance a feasibility by
sponsoring or arranging some form of sponsorship of some of the costs.
This will ensure the continued quality of the event, and that the breadth
of student participation can continue to grow. The actual cost of
attendance is EURO 700 (+ VAT) for a very high quality 5 day event. This
includes 5 nights accommodation and dining as well as all materials. The
only other cost is travel. IFPSM is actively building depth in the
relationship with the graduates of the School and anything that you can do
to make the event a reality for a deserving PhD student would be very
helpful.



IFPSM would be very grateful if you could support this venture to ensure
that it continues to provide an excellent opportunity to some of the best
PhD candidates from around the world.


Please note that applications must be received by NEVI by 15 May 2014.
