[Logprofs] Call for Papers: Cross-Functional Integration: Enhancing Rigor and Relevance

Colleagues,

We invite you to consider submitting a paper to an upcoming Special Issue for
the *Journal of Business Logistics.  *The special issue is titled
Cross-Functional
Integration Revisited:  Enhancing Rigor and Relevance.  While the following
list of sub-topic areas is not exhaustive, it is representative of the type
of research we are interested in for this special issue

   - CFI spanning the strategic-tactical spectrum
   - Intra- or inter-organizational issues (i.e., dyadic, multi-functional,
   network, cross-cultural)
   - CFI and [global] governance structure
   - The role of technology and CFI
   - Information management and CFI
   - The link between social capital and CFI
   - CFI and multi-channel networks
   - Legal issues impacting inter-firm CFI
   - CFI, global demand, and supply chain networks
   - Comparison of theories explaining dimensions or implications of CFI
   - CFI as a collaborative tool to compete in the global economy
   - CFI's role in innovation
   - CFI's role in supply chain sustainability, risk and resilience, or
   other contexts


We seek high quality manuscripts that develop, test or validate theory as
related to CFI.  The deadline for submissions for this special issue is
August 31, 2013. Please see the attached Call for Papers for additional
information.
