Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track)
Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management

East Carolina University AACSB College of Business has an opening for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management starting in August 2011 (earlier start considered).  Teaching areas sought include Logistics, Sourcing and Procurement, Operations Management, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management.  Normal teaching load is nine hours and two preparations.  Position requires teaching excellence, scholarly productivity, and service to the university, community, and profession.

PhD in field (or ABD very near completion) from appropriately accredited institutions is required.

The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management faculty consists of twenty-seven PhD professors and four MBA teaching instructors.  The College of Business offers the BSBA and MBA degrees.

East Carolina University, the third largest university in the State of North Carolina and a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina, is a research-intensive institution with medical and dental school serving over 28,000 students.  Located 1.5 hours from the coast, Greenville is a pleasant college town/medical center of approximately 70,000.
