Dear Sir or Madam,
Regarding the first Conference on Value Chain Management (VCM) we are pleased to announce the opening of the Call for Papers. “Modelling value” is the main title of the conference premiere which will be taking place from 4th to 5th May 2011 at the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences, School of Management in Steyr / Upper Austria. If you are responsible for neither Research and Development matters nor the Value Chain Management topics listed below we would kindly ask you to forward the call to your colleagues who might be interested in this conference topic.
The Value Chain Management (VCM) Conference presents scientific insights relevant to management as well as their translation into the practice of management. The conference focus is on the demand chain i.e. sales, production, purchasing, logistics, performance measurement and customer value management. Analytical and conceptual articles are welcome as well as empirical studies showing multidisciplinary and intercultural approaches towards solving relevant open problems.
Authors are encouraged to prepare and to submit papers to the following streams:
- Searching for Value
- Value Chain Models – Focusing on Future Real World Applications
The Deadline for the extended abstract is 1st November 2010.
The whole conference will be held in English.
The best papers selected will be published by Springer. Those Springer Proceedings on Value Chain Management will be listed in EBSCO, JEL, EconLit, Repec and an inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index of ISI will be prepared.
Please find further information in the enclosed call document. All necessary details are available on the conference website www.vcm-conference.com<http://www.vcm-conference.com/>.
