Faculty Position in supply chain management

BEM (France) has been supplying quality education to business students since 1874. It has more than 12 programs and encompasses undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies, executive education, research, publications and transfer of technology. It is recognised as one of the top Business Schools in Europe and is accredited AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

The Department of Information, Decisions and Management, at BEM invites applicants for a senior professor or professor in supply chain management to begin September 2010 or later.

Applicants should hold a PhD, or be near completion of their doctorate, and have a background in supply chain or a related field.  We seek individuals who have demonstrated research and teaching potential in areas such as logistics and supply chain management. Individuals in any field of supply chain research are encouraged to apply, but we are particularly seeking those with interests and experience in the application of modelling in industry settings.

Supply chain management is a dynamic interdisciplinary department in the Business School that has active research and teaching activities in this field.   BEM offers a co-op undergraduate degree in Management, as well as MSc in Global Supply chain Management (ISLI: http://www.bem.edu/en/isli ). BEM publish a very known publication in supply chain management (http://www.supplychain-forum.com/)

Applicants should submit a cover letter along with a curriculum vitae detailing educational background, research and work experience, and copies of up to four selected publications. Consideration of candidates will take place as applications come in and will continue until the positions are filled.

Requirements :
-          Teaching experience in English and in French.
-          Publication in the areas of supply chain management
-          Professional experience in supply chain management
-          PhD or equivalent.

Start date : September 2010
