All,

Please see the announcement below. The key is that Georgia Southern
will admit its first PhD in Log&SCM for the Fall 2010. We are
working hard to find good PhD Candidates and will be taking a large
class to get the program up and running. We would appreciate any
help in identifying good people.

Thanks,
Steve Rutner

Georgia Southern University to offer Ph.D. Program in Logistics and
Supply Chain Management

Statesboro, Georgia- February 8, 2010- The Georgia Southern
University College of Business Administration in Statesboro, Georgia
will offer a PhD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management beginning
Fall 2010. Building on their nationally-recognized undergraduate
degree program in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation, the new
degree program will train students for both academic and advanced
industry positions, providing a tactical solution to the need for
more people trained in logistics and supply chain management. It is
one of only two degrees in the state of Georgia to focus on the
fast-growing field of logistics and the only university to offer the
Ph.D. in Logistics & Supply Chain Management through its College of
Business Administration.
