The Division of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at The University of Oklahoma has a position opening for an Assistant Professor.  A range of research interests will be considered including channels, channel relationships, logistics, strategy, and supply chain management; however, primary requirements include teaching Logistics and Supply Chain Management classes.



This is a tenure track position beginning August 2010.  Completed Ph.D. required.  Candidates should have a strong empirical and theoretical background and be able to demonstrate excellent research and teaching skills.  Evidence of successful publishing is required.



OU is a comprehensive research university.  The Norman campus is located 20 miles south of Oklahoma City.  Norman retains the charm of a smaller college town with the amenities of a major metropolitan area.  The University consists of 12 colleges with approximately 800 faculty and 23,000 students.



The Division provides a collegial, supportive environment.  Collaborative research is encouraged.



Classes are offered at the undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral levels.  The normal teaching load is 6 hours per semester.  Salary is competitive with the market.
