[Logprofs] Towson University - Visiting Instructor of eBusiness (listserv posting request)

Towson University is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2009/2010 academic year.  The contract will beging 8/15/2009 and end 6/15/2010. We anticipate posting a tenure-track Assistant Professor position that would start August 15, 2010.  The official search for the tenure track position will begin with an announcement later this year.  The person selected for the Visiting Professor position would be eligible to apply for the Assistant Professor postion when it is posted.

Both of the courses taught by this professor are part of our eBusiness major.  Course descriptions are provided below.

EBTM 311 PRINCIPLES OF E-BUSINESS (3)
Using resources on the Internet including design of Web pages and conducting business
on the Net. Not open to those who successfully completed ECOM/MNGT 311.
Prerequisite: EBTM 337/437; may be taken concurrently. Majors only. Junior/senior standing.

EBTM 411 E-BUSINESS MARKETING (3)
This course is a study of marketing in the context of e-Business which examines
the unique characteristicsof the virtual marketplace with respect to creating, communicating
and delivering value to customers, stakeholders and the organization.Specific topics covered
include e-tailing, e-CRM, social networking sites, viral marketing and web atmosphere.
Not open to those who successfully completed MKTG/ECOM 411. Prerequisites: MKTG 341/342,
EBTM 337/437, EBUS/ECOM/MNGT 311. Majors only. Junior/senior standing.
