FACULTY POSITION IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at TCU
invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor
of supply and value chain management effective either January or August
2009. The 12-member department offers an undergraduate major in supply
and value chain management and an MBA concentration in the area. The
appointee will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate-level
courses in supply chain management.
Requirements for this position include a Ph.D degree in supply chain
management, logistics or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will
have a strong record of academic research, with a demonstrated ability
to publish in relevant top-tier journals and work effectively as a
member of a faculty team. Relevant business experience and the ability
to engage with companies in executive education and/or research are also
desirable.
The Supply and Value Chain Center (SVCC) in the Neeley School of
Business works closely to ensure the business community is actively
engaged with both faculty and students. The SVCC also provides support
for faculty research, hosts executive forums on critical supply chain
issues, offers an MBA certificate in supply and value chain management,
and provides executive education for companies. Information regarding
