 The Smeal College of Business at Penn State invites applications for
two Assistant Professor positions in Supply Chain Management,
available in August 2008. Applicants should have a doctorate (granted
or nearly completed), a thorough knowledge of supply chain theory and
practice, strong analytic skills, and a commitment to applied
research.  The ideal applicant will have strong research and teaching
interests in /business logistics/ or /strategic procurement. /Teaching
strengths should be directed toward all levels, which include M.B.A.,
M.S., Ph.D. and B.S. degree programs.  The primary selection criteria
are fit with research and teaching priorities, outstanding research
potential, excellent teaching capabilities, and strong
recommendations.  A complete position description is attached.

specific research and teaching interests, a resume, graduate
