<p>At 7:30 before the dance, David will teach a West Coast Swing lesson.<br>

After the lesson David will DJ a first set of music maybe starting with some contemporary West Coast Swing songs, but mostly sticking to Lindy songs that are both "Lindy-able" and "West coast-able", with the understanding that the dancers are primarily Lindy/East
Coast Swing folks so the playlist will mostly stick to music they typically dance to rather than a typical West Coast Swing playlist.<br>

Next week (11/20) and December 4, Avery and Galen will teach West Coast Swing lessons (with a break for Thanksgiving).<br>

<p>As always, in order to keep the club alive and thriving, we welcome all student support. Therefore, students: please join our expanding organizational team if you like our lessons and dances and want them to continue! Easiest way is to just write back
and say you're interested. There will be plenty of tasks and positions for people who can only help out rarely: all help is appreciated. Please consider joining us even if your time constraints might limit your involvement.</p>

<h1>MIT Dance Policy</h1>

To that end, MIT Lindy Hop Society reserves the right to take action against any person whose conduct is contrary to this environment of inclusiveness. Using our discretion, any dancer that we reasonably determine has violated MIT's non-discrimination policy
in the treatment of any other dancer in any way, may be permanently banned from participation in MIT Lindy Hop Society activities. Potentially actionable conduct may include, but is not limited to:</p>

<li>Verbal insults, jokes, comments, or micro-aggressions that leaves another dancer feeling marginalized based on their status as a member of a protected class.</li><li>Sexually inappropriate, coercive, or manipulative conduct that overtly or covertly circumvents the other person's right to consent. This includes unwanted sexual touching on the dance floor, as well as coercive and inappropriate behaviors during a dance
or dance event.</li></ul>
