MIT Lindy Hop Society: The Return of Student Learning Socials!

Hello dancers,

*MIT LHS is back with MIT student learning socials Thursday 5-7PM in 36-153
starting March 3rd!* Officers Anna Zeng and Victoria Preston will be
kicking off the lessons with a Beginner's Review: the basic step,
open/closed position, and simple turns. The lesson will run from *5-6PM*,
with an open practice/social time from *6-7PM*. We invite club members to
grab dinner together following the social at 7PM!

Lesson content, MIT room number, instructors, and DJs will be announced
weekly via email and posted on our website at
http://web.mit.edu/swing/calendar.html. March will largely be focused on
building core lindy/east-coast skills, and we'll see where we go from there.

During our events, please be prepared to wear a mask at all times; wear
loose, comfortable clothing appropriate for light exercise and flat,
non-marking shoes; and get excited about dance!

*Community members or MIT students interested in teaching/DJing* are

we will follow-up with you! This is a friendly group of folks, and this is
a great opportunity to try out teaching/DJing for the first time,
experiment with a new lesson, or teach/play something out of the ordinary! *MIT
