In 2 weeks, the MIT Lindy Hop Society's Wednesday dance will
be more special than usual, so mark your calendars!

We'll have a live band, Amy Kucharik and Tiger Moan!
We're calling the evening Bread and Bones, after a song in
Amy's repertoire.

* Bread and Bones, a special MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday
  Swing Dance
* Wednesday, February 27, Lesson 7:30, Dancing 9-11:30 p.m.
* Walker Memorial, 1st floor (Morss Hall)
  http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=50
* Free, Beginners welcome, No partner necessary
* Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/2052056341530160/

>From 7:30-9, the Lindy Bomb Squad will teach multiple
simultaneous lessons for different skill levels, from
complete beginner to advanced.

Tim Manning will DJ the band breaks.

We won't have extravagant catered food this year, but we
welcome voluntary contributions to a table we'll have set up
for snacks!

Some extra notes, especially for those who have attended
previous years:

This year's Bread and Bones will be more of a swing dance
than the fusion dance which it was in previous years, though
both the band and the DJ will play a some songs that aren't
strictly swing to keep things interesting.

The event is FREE for everyone!

The event is on a Wednesday, not a weekend. We're scaling
down some of the extravagance compared to previous years as
I've become employed full-time so have less energy for
organizing.

Next week, February 20, we'll have our regular Wednesday
night dance in Walker. I'll send email about it next week.
