We are in a classroom of Building 36. It will get warm.

* MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday Swing Dance
* Wednesday, August 29, Lesson 7:30 Dancing 9-11:30 p.m.
* Building 36, room 112
  http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=36
* Free, Beginners welcome, No partner necessary
* DJs Tim Manning and Phalgun Lolur

At 7:30 before the dance, David '11 will teach a beginner
swing lesson. Unfortunately, we'll be in a small dance room
this week, as Freshman Orientation has taken all the rooms
we normally use.

If anyone is available to help me set up the dance, meet me
at W20-437 (our storage room) at 6:45 pm.

Locations for the next few weeks:
8/29 36-112, DJs Tim Manning and Phalgun Lolur
  Lesson by David
9/5 Walker
  Lesson by David
9/12 Lobdell
  Lesson by Tufts Country Swing dance

Unfortunately, all of our dances for the foreseeable future
will be indoors (no more outdoor dances in front of the
Student Center) due to a (previously unenforced) MIT rule
forbidding outdoor events in the evening which make sound.
Anyone want to help me navigate MIT administration?

Would anyone like to teach a future lesson? Share your love
of dance!

Help wanted! If you are an MIT student and available to
occasionally help out with the club, let me know. (We would
like to avoid the club having a single point of failure,
namely me.)  No commitment required!

P.S.:

Friday, August 31, 2:30-4:30pm: Student Activities Midway,
Johnson. Let me know if you are available to join me at the
Lindy Hop Society booth to publicize our club to the new
students.
