Swing dancing, Lobdell, blues lesson 7:30

At 7:30, Derrick and Faye will be teaching a beginner 
"ballroomin'" blues lesson with a focus on technique for 
getting you across the dance floor in a comfortable, close 
embrace connection.

This month's (and August 1) lesson series will be blues 
dance, leading up to Boston's Sweet Molasses Blues workshop 
weekend August 10-12 (whose workshop classes will take place 
at MIT):

If anyone is available to help me set up the dance, meet me 
at W20-437 (our storage room) at 6:45 pm.

7/18 Lobdell
7/25 Sala
8/1 Lobdell

Unfortunately, all of our dances for the foreseeable future 
will be indoors (no more outdoor dances in front of the 
Student Center) due to a (previously unenforced) MIT rule 
forbidding outdoor events in the evening which make sound.  
Anyone want to help me navigate MIT administration?

Would anyone like to teach a future lesson?  Share your love 
of dance!

Help wanted!  If you are an MIT student and available to 
occasionally help out with the club, let me know.  (We would 
like to avoid the club having a single point of failure, 
namely me.)  No commitment required!
