* MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday Swing Dance
* Wednesday, June 20, Lesson 7:30 Dancing 9-11:30 p.m.
* Outside, in front of Student Center
  http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=W20
* Free, Beginners welcome, No partner necessary
* DJs Tim Manning and Eric Reesman

At 7:30, Nigel will teach a swing lesson.

The dance is outside this week, on concrete. Don't wear
your nice shoes! The weather forecast is 70 F, but
unfortunately a 30% chance of rain later in the evening. We
currently don't have a contigency plan for rain, so we might
have to improvise something if rain happens.

Would anyone like to teach a future lesson? Share your love
of dance!

If anyone is available to help me set up the dance, meet me
at W20-437 (our storage room) at 6:45 pm.

Locations, DJs, and instructors for the next few weeks:
6/20 Outside W20, DJs Tim Manning and Eric Reesman
   Nigel will teach a lesson.
6/27 Sala (with special short performance at break)
DJs Jodi Daynard and Stephen York
Alex and Becky will teach a lesson.
7/4 NO DANCE (go watch fireworks!)
7/11 Lobdell*
7/18 Lobdell*
7/25 Sala*
8/1 Lobdell*

*some of these dances may turn into outdoor dances if the
weather is nice.

Starting July 11, the 7:30 lessons will be a 4-week blues
dance series, leading up the Boston's Sweet Molasses Blues
workshop weekend August 10-12:
 https://www.sweetmolassesblues.com/
The 9pm dances will play a mix of music, more blues toward
the beginning immediately following the lesson, and more
swing later.

Help wanted! If you are an MIT student and available to
occasionally help out with the club, let me know. (We would
like to avoid the club having a single point of failure,
namely me.) No commitment required!
