Swing dancing, Walker, Musicality lesson 7:30

Lesson tonight based on Grammy-nominated songs.  Please heed 
the warning below about explict lyrics.

At 7:30 before the dance, Ken will teach a musicality lesson 
based on the nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards.  Most of 
the songs are not swing songs, but the musical ideas in them 
are applicable to swing dancing.  If there are any songs on 
the list that you particular want me to cover, let me know:

We will pick apart some of the songs musically and learn how 
to dance to them.  CONTENT WARNING: This year, the Recording 
Academy nominated some songs with intense and explicit 
lyrics concerning some possibly unsettling topics: racial 
identity, sexual violence, etc.  If things like that are not 
what you feel like hearing, maybe skip the lesson this week.

In the next 2 weeks (Jan 3 and 10), Mike will teach swing 
lessons.

On January 17 and 24, Alex and David will teach swing 
lessons.
