We are outdoors in front of the Student Center this week,
not in Building 36 as previously announced.

Congratulations MIT graduates! If you would like to be
removed from our mailing list, or resubscribed with an
alumni email address, let me know or follow the link at the
bottom of the page. Also, if you happen to make it big and
ever want to donate to the club, the link is on our home
page.

* MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday Swing Dance
* Wednesday, June 1, Lesson 7:30 Dancing 9-11:30 p.m.
* Outside in front of Student Center
(rain location: Building 36, room 112)
* Free, Beginners welcome, No partner necessary
* DJs Stephen York and Eric Reesman

At 7:30 pm, Ken will teach a beginner swing lesson. The
first part of the lesson will cover swing basics. The
second part will be a musicality lesson WITH YOUR MUSIC.
Bring a song you would like to learn to dance to (it does not
need to be a swing song!) on a portable music player, or
send me a Youtube link to the song, and we'll learn to dance
to it.

The location this week is outside in front of the student
center. The surface is concrete. The temperatures are
forecasted to be in the lower 60s. In case of rain or other
problems, (e.g., the electricity outdoors is broken) we will
be in Building 36, room 112.

Would anyone like to teach a lesson or lessons in June or
beyond? Let me know. Swing is a dance form born of friends
teaching friends.

If you are an MIT student and would like to help out with
the club, also let me know.
