THE HOT CLUB OF SOMERVILLE
Cool cats & dapper dames can't help but strut their stuff to
the swingin'brass'em sass'em sounds of our Swing / Jazz
Band. When you're too blue to swing or the swing is too hot
to handle, then just groove out and lose your chill with the
slip, slide and glide of a trombone razz and the croon of a
tune that will be stuck in your head for weeks to come. (

Would anyone like to teach lessons in March or later?
Two questions about "The Beaver Ball" on Friday, March 14,
2014, a celebration of 100 years of the MIT mascot. The
event features the Compaq Big Band from 7 - 9pm, followed
by a DJ from 9-10:30pm.
1. Would anyone like to don the (bulky) Tim the Beaver
costume and do a swing dance performance with a partner?
2. Would 4 - 6 members be interested in attending the event
and showing off their dance skills between 7pm - 9pm? You
would get comped tickets.
