Elizabeth and Davis will teach at 7:30 p.m.

Important note: next week (January 31) we will be in
Walker Memorial.

* MIT Lindy Hop Society Wednesday Night Dance
* Wednesday, January 24, 2007, 9:00 - 11:30 p.m.
* Lobdell Cafeteria (MIT Student Center 2nd floor)
* Beginners welcome. No partner necessary.

At 7:30 p.m. before the dance, Elizabeth and Davis will
teach the third class of their 4-part IAP lesson series.
This week they will teach Swing Dancing Fast (rapid tempo).

No previous swing experience or partner required. You may
attend this lesson even if you did not attend previous
weeks' lessons.

All you need is a willingness to explore tempo extremes. Elizabeth
and Davis will help you build proper dance form, great styling, and
fun moves!

Experienced dancers will benefit just as much as beginners, if not
more, because they will be able to access specifically targeted
instruction on technique while beginners practice the basics.

PLEASE try your best to come on time - 7:30. The partner-dance
portion of class will utilize material directly from the warmups.
You'll get the most out of class if you attend the whole thing.

NEXT WEEK (January 31): The lesson and dance will be in
Walker Memorial (MIT Building 50).

Would anyone like to teach in February? We currently have
no lessons scheduled.
