Starting next week, January 10,17,24,31: IAP class series
taught by Elizabeth Miller and Davis Thurber. 7:30 p.m.
Here is the series description:
**** FAST swing and SLOW blues ****
No previous swing experience or partner required.
All you need is a willingness to explore tempo extremes. Elizabeth
and Davis will help you build proper dance form, great styling, and
fun moves!
Experienced dancers will benefit just as much as beginners, if not
more, because they will be able to access specifically targeted
instruction on technique while beginners practice the basics.
PLEASE try your best to come on time - 7:30. The partner-dance
portion of class will utilize material directly from the warmups.
You'll get the most out of class if you attend the whole thing.
Finally, if you are an MIT student and interested in helping
run the swing dance club, please let me know.
